Development Loans

This program provides an interest free loan to local professionals or companies to support the development process of a film or television project. For instance these stages could include research, writing, market analysis and costing.

Guideline Revisions
Film Nova Scotia would like producers to be aware a change made to the Development Loan guidelines. Please note projects at the development stage can be supported through loans of up to 50% (previously 33%) of the development budget that is to be expended in Nova Scotia to a maximum dollar amount of $15,000.
